A Challenge of Honour - Only Stones Remain

This is the first album I heard in Martial Industrial genre at the time. The second track Jonestown is what really got me. I have never heard anything like it at the time, it was brutal and uncompromising and yet completely devoid of all previous signals of extreme music I was used to. A Challenge of Honour in this album produces bombastic martial music fit for anyone in search of music with an aura of honor, regality, and imperialism, but in other tracks it also has an essence of romance, the will of human nature, and some nostalgia for a lost past. An excellent album.

Strangers In Life, Brothers In Death... (Compilation)

Military Marches

This is a Compilation I made of military march songs and folk songs sung in the military by participating soldiers of a couple different eras and subjects. These subjects include the Spanish Civil War (Songs from both the republic and the francoists are included), the Romanian Iron Guard, aswell as military march songs from modern communist China and North Korea. I tried to keep them relatively sorted out by subject. This is my first Compilation, I hope you all enjoy it.

Rome - Flowers From Exile

Dark folk, Martial Industrial?

This album is absolutely phenomenal. One of the best albums of 2009. Although I would prefer to not post an album so near its release, I also feel this is so great that people should definitely hear this.

"Flowers From Exile is supposedly based upon the events of the Spanish Civil War, a conflict in which Retuer's family partook. The various samples used throughout the album, as well as its exotic arrangements, intimate an atmosphere of conflict and resignation, but specifics never quite materialize the way they would in folk music or songs of political protest. More plainly, Flowers tackles the familiar topics of isolation, desperation, and displacement whether it be political, familial, or religious in scope." - Lucas Schleicher

This album is highly recommended.
